Doris

The photos in Gallery 1 are of Chymera Darshana, or Doris!! She is an adorable 3 year old Tibetan mastiff bitch, born to Lynne

and Chris Turner’s Shang-Hai’s Barbarella avec Chymera and Alexa Sutton’s extremely popular and well known multiple BOB winner, Yogi, (Sierras Yoganandas!!)I could list all his wins but couldn't afford the web space!!

A big heartfelt thank you though, to Lynne and Chris for letting us have Doris. I am so pleased we made the journey to East Anglia to see her. She settled in very quickly.

She isn't just beautiful, she has a huge heart, a very mischievous side, and like all Tibetan Mastiffs, likes to do everything in her own sweet time!! Her nickname, amongst others is Doris owntime!

Of those who know her, she doesn't take to everyone and can be very timid but since we took on Dodger, she has come out of herself a great deal.

This is her third year on the show circuit and she is doing great for such a timid little girl who doesn't show off like Dodger does!!

If you are reading this, and you are a (female!) judge, please be patient with her!!

Artful Dodger

The photos in Gallery 2 are of Fallenoak Archimedes Night, or the Artful Dodger! Dodge came to us in March 2007, after we were tipped off on 9th January that a ‘grey boy’ had been born on a mountain in North Wales!! After a quick phone call to an exhausted but ecstatic Parry family (Jimmy and Gaynor and daughter Naomi) and a visit to see the pups in snowy February, we fell in love with our very fluffy and very affectionate grey boy!!

After we proved to Jim that we were made of tough(ish) stuff, with a 3 hour hike up his very full on (6 inches of snow) mountain, and a follow up windy walk up and down the tallest mountain in North Wales he entrusted his grey boy to us and we are immensely grateful that he did!! He continues to do us proud in the show ring though this year, we have not entered them for many classes. They are booked for Kingston open and Windsor champ show.

Best known for being incredibly laid back, even in the ring and for his welcoming‘growl’ when he wants to show he is pleased about something, be it breast of lamb or walkies, or liver cake!! He is also affectionately known as the Artful Sodger, Fartful Dodger and ‘The only grey in the village!!’ His party piece is burping in your face after he has just had dinner!! (the boy has class!!)
